    ~ MEMORIES ~

FROM SKY TO SEA  ~ AUGUST 29, 2017

We certainly enjoyed our adventure to Central Florida to experience Orlando from the sky. We boarded the amazing Orlando Eye. Our protected bubble slowly rotated around the wheel to show spectacular views of the city and Central Florida. We had many scenic photos taken. Wonderful! Our afternoon continued as we explored the sea at the Sea Life Aquarium. This tunnel of fun featured over 2 million gallons of water, over 500 species of creatures, educational talks, feeding and even a diving show. This was a great underwater experience we enjoyed, and we didn't even get wet. The I 360 complex had a variety of dining choices for everyone. We had those who chose Mediterranean, Mexican, French, upscale American and even the Sugar Factory, as in Manhattan. M Shack and Ben & Jerry's was a treat as well! Wonderful day for wonderful memories!

Start spreading the news….. We had an amazing time in the city that doesn’t sleep  – The BIG Apple - NEW YORK, NY !

We can't say enough about the wonderful weather and our phenomenal adventure. First, our home for our stay is certainly a highligh, the Marriott Marquis, on Broadway in Times Square. Need we say more? Location and amenities were certainly a highlight to our time there. An exceptional deluxe dinner and music on board the Bateaux, a breathtaking cruise on the Hudson River. What better way to welccome us to this magnificent city?

The highlights included a ferry cruise to Liberty Island, where we  delighted ourselves in the presence of the most popular icon in our country, The Statue of Liberty; Ellis Island gave us a glimpse into our country’s ancestry and how we are such a melting pot of many cultures.; Ground Zero Memorial Plaza and 9/11 Museum is a must for all Americans; along with the many sights and history shared by our guide, “A True New York Expert”.  The exceptional food and wonderful view as we dined with a revolving view at “The View” gave a bird's eye view of Manhattan. Carmine's authentic Italian cuisine is must in the City. Delicious!. Two Broadway shows, brought the New York theatre to life for us, "Beautiful" and "Phantom". Wonderful! We continued our touring with the top of the Empire State Building., St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Plaza and much more. Couldn't have a better memory than the “Fabulous 4th of July Fireworks” this evening, NewYork Style. We had an exceptional time in New York. Come join us in 2018!
